The premiere of The September Issue took place in New York last night, and British-American fashion editor Anna Wintour led the fash-off wearing a Prada resort dress. Check her out below. Her daughter Bee Schaffer stands beside her at left.

Those in the fashion world know that the September issue of fashion magazines is dubbed the “make or break” issue. It’s typically this issue that launches the all-important fall season, and so the top magazines pull out all the stops for splashy stories and awesome photo shoots – all in an effort to excite consumers who may be browsing glossy pages on their last days at the beach.

One to look out for is the September issue of W Magazine. Kate Moss is on the cover, and she models Prada’s fall collection. There’s also an interview with Miuccia Prada, who talks about the effect of the economy on the fashion industry: “When you say ‘commercial’ it shouldn’t be an insult, like something is not beautiful“.

Prada Coming To Singapore Changi Airport?

Prada Singapore is reportedly one of the high-end brands that’s in contention for six luxury retail spaces at Singapore Changi airport terminal. Prada Singapore is up against DFS Venture Singapore and Luxury Ventures.

Prada Singapore has proposed Miu Miu and Prada concepts. DFS Venture Singapore has reportedly proposed Burberry, Emporio Armani, Gucci, Hermès and Polo Ralph Lauren outlets. Luxury Ventures has reportedly proposed Bally and Coach concepts.
