It’s typically this issue that launches the all-important fall season, and so the top magazines pull out all the stops for splashy stories and awesome photo shoots – all in an effort to excite consumers who may be browsing glossy pages on their last days at the beach.

One to look out for is the September issue of W Magazine. Kate Moss is on the cover, and she models Prada’s fall collection. There’s also an interview with Miuccia Prada, who talks about the effect of the economy on the fashion industry: “When you say ‘commercial’ it shouldn’t be an insult, like something is not beautiful“.
